Who We Are
The Coven of the Darksome Moon is an initiatory coven with students and first-, second-, and third-degree members. We are an eclectic Pagan coven based in Southern California. We are not strictly Wiccan, but we use a ritual structure that is similar to Wiccan ritual. We celebrate queer identity and alternative lifestyles.
High Priestess
Jen (Willowind) is the High Priestess and founder of the Coven of the Darksome Moon. She has been practicing witchcraft and magick in one form or another since she was a teenager. Recently she has been focused on studying ceremonial and high magick to expand her repertoire.
Maiden
Azeria is the Maiden of the Coven of the Darksome Moon. She has been practicing witchcraft for 33 years. Her studies include Santeria, Folk Magic, Wicca, and Paganism which include Christianity and Celtic. These days she identifies as an Electric Pagan. Azeria is a Master Crystal Healer, Master Tarot Reader, with extensive knowledge in herbalism and kitchen witchcraft. She is the owner of Sol Poppy Healing Crystal Apothecary and member of the leadership team of the Open Heart Grove chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Paganism at Neighborhood Church in Pasadena, California. Azeria has a love for animals and currently has two dogs (Celeste and Lucero) and a cat named Fiona. Her love for animals has lead her to work extensively with her animal spirit guides.
Scribe
Keshet is a Jewish Pagan who enjoys learning new things about their craft and spirituality. They discovered witchcraft at college and have been exploring ever since. They love candle magick and eclectic approaches to witchcraft.
Historian
Fern is a green witch and the historian of the Coven of the Darksome Moon. She has studied magickal subjects independently, and this is her first time practicing magick with a coven. She is excited to engage in the witchcraft community!
